Verbesserungspotentiale bei Beteiligungen an genossenschaftlichen Aktiengesellschaften Neben der gesellschaftsrechtlichen und faktischen Situation im Raiffeisensektor Tirol wird in dieser Abhandlung kritisch untersucht inwieweit Corporate Governance Grundsatze dazu beitragen konnen, eine gute Sektorarbeit im Genossenschaftsverbund zu gewahrleisten und so langfristig den Erfolg der gesamten Bankengruppe in einem der kompetitivsten Markte fur Bank- und Finanzdienstleistungen in Europa zu sichern. Verbesserungspotentiale und Vorschlage („Best Practice“) werden unter dem Blickwinkel einer „langfristigen Unternehmenswertschaffung durch gute Unternehmensfuhrung“ gegeben. Die vorliegende Arbeit wurde im Jahr 2008 an der Universitat Innsbruck als Diplomarbeit verfasst, eingereicht und mit „Sehr gut“ beurteilt; darauffolgend wurde sie mit dem Forschungspreis des Internationalen Institutes fur Genossenschaftsforschung im Alpenraum (IGA) 2008 ausgezeichnet. Nach einer Adaptierung der pramierten Arbeit – zwecks Verallgemeinerung der festgestellten Befunde und Aktualisierung (URAG 2008) – liegt diese nun mit Stand 2009 vor.

Their Location Choices in Istanbul LOCATION CHOICES OF REAL ESTATE AGENTS IN ISTANBUL After the 17th August 1999 earthquake, Istanbul has been adversely affected economically and socially. Significant differentiation in urban housing demand and supply has been observed. In this research, the distribution of real estate agents is examined with the help of GIS and the differentiation is scrutinized for the 1994-2006 period before the earthquake, and the period after the earthquake until 2006. The purpose of the research is to analyse; Housing production in the housing market in Istanbul, distribution of real estate agents, and differentiation of demographic, physical and land value characteristics of districts before and after the earthquake. It has been observed that close relationships exist between demographic and physical characteristics of districts and distribution of real estate agents.
